Letters to my Sister, The Black Goddess

Lettes
Overview

"Letters to my Sista, The Black Goddess" is a book that gives a reverence that weaves between the differentiating age groups of black women. The book is appropriately composed of "letters" which undoubtedly are laced with true emotion. Emotion that was stirred by the slanted depiction of black women from long before, yet continuing into today's mainstream media. There is no denying the existence of the awesome bond between the black woman and the black man after reading this book, despite a lack of effective representations of its existence. Joseph's perspectives are easily communicated while supported by pillars of sincerity. Honesty lies on each and every page with an abundance that almost invokes a sense of suspicion within the reader. If on your last strand of hope for unity between black women and black men, or if down to your last drop of faith in the black man's ability to recognize and acknowledge the black woman's worth...this is definitely your read.

The Black Woman is the Black Man's Goddess and that is something that is not up for debate. The title of this book is "Letters to my Sista, The Black Goddess." This book was authored from the perspective of a brother writing to his sister. Because this is my first publication to the "Black Feminine," it was only fitting to speak as a brother, based on the fact that the beginning of each generation, begins with siblings, and later after maturation does the formation of relationships appear. Most definitely this is only the beginning. This publication serves as a marker in this "era of The Black Warrior." As a warrior, protection and dedication is primary in regards to the Black Goddess. The Black Goddess, carried and birthed the black warrior, she is his emotional foundation, honor unto her. It is agreeable to say that for one to reference the black woman as a goddess is poetic. But may it be fully understood, she is a goddess. Those who choose to deny this truth, the time is fast approaching, where your denial will transform into an utter display of stubborness in the face of her obvious glory. To my bruthaz who stand with me, it is an honor to usher in this era of Glory alongside you, in conscious concert. And unto you, Black Goddess, many preparations have been made, each one designed to increase your pride in the black man, tilting your chin higher with each degree of progress until your head is in the clouds of glory.
